My name is Donal Patrick Shannon. My friends call me Pat. I am a minister, teacher and writer. In San Diego and Los Angeles I taught all grades in elementary, secondary and adult school including ESL programs. I also taught the History of the Americas in Community College. I have published articles about Northern Baja California, Ireland, Costa Rican Indians history and the Tecate Brewery. Currently, I am publishing a book on the Costa Rican Indian Pueblos in the Colonial Period. I offer private classes in English and Spanish. I have the experience: two master degrees and the credentials to teach English and Spanish to all levels and ages.

En San Diego y Los Angeles enseñé todo desde primaria hasta ESL en escuela adulta y Historia de las Americas en Community College. He publicado artículos sobre la historia de la Cervecería Tecate y Baja California del Norte, Irlanda, y indios costarricenses. Pronto publico un libro sobre Pueblos Indígenas Costarricenses en la Colonia. Ofrezco clases de ingles privados. The house that I offer as a Bed and Breakfast (in San Francisco de Heredia), is centrally located about half the distance between San Jose and the international airport. It is very safe and is located on a dead-end street. The house is new and comes with almost all the necessities. It has a kitchen, private bathroom, two bedrooms, cable and internet.
La casa que ofrezco como B&B queda en San Francisco de Heredia, (centrally located) la mitad de la distancia entre San Jose y el aeropuerto internacional. Esta muy seguro y ubicado en una calle sin salida. La casa es nueva y también son casi todos los muebles. Tiene cocina y baño privado, dos alcobas, cable, y internet.
I offer shuttle service and historical tours. I have a Mazda MPV and an eleven passenger van. I can take you to destinations such as the Indian ruins, colonial churches, historical sites and museums and I offer you the BEST information and interpretation of pre-Columbian, Colonial and contemporary Costa Rican History. In addition to being a historian, I am an ethno biologist and ethnographer. Our chauffeurs are safe and experienced. The two automobiles are in optimum condition.
